SOTD: March 22 thru March 28 2010
Friday morning:
Hot shower/Proraso pre/post
1966 Slim set on 1
SuperMax super platinum 2nd shave
Penworks finest
Proraso shaving cream
Proraso pre/post
First shave with a Slim; set on 1 with a SuperMax blade it was the gentlest shave I ever had. My Tech is aggressive by comparison, so I really recommend this razor and setting for a beginner or for people with sensitive skin.

Good Friday all...
Gillette Fat Handle Tech w/ Feather
E.J. BBB
Speick sc
Dickinson's WH
Speick a/s
Musgo Real a/s balsam
Vetiver by Guerlain Edt
Great Speick lather, enough for a two pass head shave after a three pass shave with the Tech. A DFS to be sure and a great finish with the Musgo balm and the Guelain Vetiver. Too bad it'll only be 30 degrees today, but it is Friday after all.

*First time in a while. Shaves were getting a little stale and a little sloppy. Change it up, and the focus on technique really helps. I got a bit of irritation where my angle was off on the neck, but it'll be perfect tomorrow.

Jaggerooney (Jagger/Mühle head, Rooney faux horn handle)
Super Iridium
Erasmic SC
Vulfix 2234 Super
Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood Toner
Great shave--smooth, close, and comfortable. I enjoy the Erasmic SC (in the metal tube). The scent is very pleasant and soothing, IMO. I haven’t tried the Erasmic cream in the newer packaging.
The Ogallala toner provided a fine finish.
