Saville Row 3118
Speick Shave Stick
Gillette disposable twin blade
Mennen Skin Bracer AS

On the road but forgot to mail DE blades ahead. Good shave but I can see why these things (multiblade cartridges) have become the norm. There is little need to concentrate on technique. Easy. Not as satisfying, but easy.

Merkur 38C Barber Pole
Super Iridium
SR 3722
Harris Lavender Shave Soap
Harris Pink

Penhaligon's English Fern

Dave, I realized the same thing about the "no technique needed" with the BIC Sensitives. Completely no satisfaction from the shaves they give me.

Wednesday:

Gillette Model #58 & LB Wilkinson blade
Omega boar
Truefitt's Almond shave cream
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Floris's Original Gentlemen's Cologne

Not quite as good a shave today. I think I didn't use quite enough cream and so, by the third pass the lather was getting a mite thin. With this brush I find I need quite a bit a cream and there's less margin for error in that department. Still, it came out alright, pretty much.
