Good Thursday morning all...
Fat Boy w/ Sharpedge
Semogue 1305
Tabac ss
Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
Floid Vigoroso a/s
Musgo Real a/s balsam
Alt Innsbruck cologne
A real contrast to yesterday's quick shave, the three pass shaving this morning yielded a BBS result. Great finish w/ the Musgo and Alt Innsbruck.

Razor: Merkur Progress XL
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Grosvenor LE Super
Soap: Valobra Soft Soap (Almond)
A/S: Generic Witch Hazel, Proraso Splash
Smooth BBS shave--the 14th shave on this blade. I had planned to make #14 the limit before changing blades, but now I think I'll try for one or two more. I've already been consistently able to equal or better the cost per shave compared to an Astra Superior, another of my favorite blades. While cost is not the ultimate objective, I find it amazing that I can get so many really FINE shaves from an Iridium. Of course, YMMV. I haven't yet figured out how many shaves I can get from a bottle of Proraso splash, but I must say that it was an excellent finish!
