Gillette '68 LBH Adjustable / Super Iridium blade
Coates Lime Shave Cream
Caswell-Massey No. 6 Aftershave and Cologne
I mentioned to my wife, in a shave geeky way, that I'd had a particularly fine shave this morning. She gave me a sarcastic look and said "SOTD?"
I guess she's been looking over my shoulder as I type.

Omega Retaggio brush
Speick shaving "stuck"
Fusion ProGlide
Injector w/PRC Schick
C.O. Bigelow Tonic as
The lube strip on the ProGlide is enormous and gums things up. Little cut as a result, and I gave up after 1.5 passes and minimal beard reduction. A pass with the Injector fixed it, but I expect some ingrowns on my neck.
$10 and a morning shave that I'll never get back.

Razor: Merkur Progress XL
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simpson Emperor 2
Soap: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet (not the latest formula)
A/S: Generic Witch Hazel, Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Toner
Effortless lather and excellent shave--number 15 for the Iridium. This was my first use of PBB and it lives up to its hype, IMO. I wasn't sure what A/S would be appropriate, but I don't think it's critical. I ended up using the Ogallala BR, L & P on the theory that it should be somewhat consistent with the citrus and pepper part of the Blenheim Bouquet scent. Whether the theory was correct or not, the Ogallala provided a great finish.

Quick shave, but very good anyway,
Prep and shaving cream: Used the last bit of my mixed up group of shaving cream samples. It lasted me about 6 weeks.
No brush today!
Razor and blade: Cooncatbob's Bull Mastiff XL Deluxe with the Merkur head and a Feather blade with an unknown # of shaves on it.
After the shave: COBigelow Mentha Body Lotion. Good menthol cooldown.
And I was out the door by 7, right on time, and early to arrive at my destination. Great way to start the day on a beautiful Saturday morning of a 3 day weekend.
Have a great Memorial Day!
