Ideal DE razor blade

ok, i must have weird skin. using my vision or an open comb, i can tell no shaving difference. to me, the difference is only that hte feather is a flimsier blade when i unwrap it as oppossed to the more stiff merkur

I have really come to appreciate the Merkur Progress. The reason may be I have only used the Feather Platinums but this little razor is a wonderful workhorse. I decided to try the Merkur blades and I have to be honest. The Feathers may be the last word in regard to smoothness and longevity but if you are willing to get three or four less shaves with the Merkur why not. Brand new the Merkurs perform quite well. Max
