I got tired of baby's butts and damn fine, so I invented my own, and others are free to do the same. Just fyi, mine is VVS (very very smooth).

Yesterday: lousy shave, dull razor and poor lathering soap, all my fault.
Today: good shave, good razor, new blade, big brush and a bountiful cream lather. I made the right choices today. I get all the credit

I've arrived at the point where I don't even check to see how good my shave was. If I missed a few little bits here and there, it's OK. Nobody will notice. I remind myself that even the smoothest BBS is good for just a few hours anyway. Every shave for me, therefore, is a GES - a good enough shave.

Entering year 2 of the DE shaving experience, I view any shave that does not look like I just sparred with Freddy Krueger as a good shave.
At work, I just survived yet another round of layoffs and was not forced to take a pay cut. There's lots more in life to concern me than stray razor stubble.

Maybe it was the clean-shaven look that persuaded the management droid to say 'this is not the one we're looking for' and pass you over?m3m0ryleak wrote:Entering year 2 of the DE shaving experience, I view any shave that does not look like I just sparred with Freddy Krueger as a good shave.

You might detect a little bias against management culture, and it's true. I loathe the illegitimate wastes of space who have sucked up all the health care dollars in Canada, so that we are now cutting beds way beyond what is safe in order for these self-satisfied anglo-saxon-tetragrammatons to take their twelve weeks of paid vacation a year, their golden parachutes when they are embarrassed by their own incompetence, and a pension at the end of it to which they never contributed. "Socialised medicine" seems to be catching up with the free-enterprise variety, where this profit-driven business-culture has been the norm for some time.
