Which body trimmer and back shaver am I going to get?

I need your help! I'm planning to get a body trimmer for my body and my back too and also to get back shaver at Target today or next week. I had a hard time shaving my back with a MANGROOMER for back only and I use it sometime. I hate it because my back is all red and feel like razor burns. it so annoying ot use it.

Next thing is: I only shave my body with a woman's disposable razor with one blade once a month or every few weeks or so. It took me one hour and half in sitting in the bathtub and standing up and down. I take my time during shaving. My body feel comfortable after shaving.

Which body trimmer am I going to get? Norcleo or Phillps or something?

Do you like using body trimmer? How often do you use?

Please help me.

Chris, it's very unusual for a man to trim or shave hair from any part of his body below the neck. Why would you want to do that?

Actually, I'm not a swimmer at all. I don't do any sport. I don't really like to too much hair on my body because it make itchy and annoying. I don't mind having less when grow back after in two weeks to a months. I will try a trimmer again and see if it works and without no pitch or pull.

I used to think that as well but my son, a college senior, tells me that this practice is not unusual in his experience. (He's on the baseball team and has lived with other members of the team over the past few years, but he doesn't suggest that it is a practice limited to athletes.)

It sounds like another opportunity for me to channel my parents, "You call THAT music?"

I had no idea, Nathan. I was aware of tattoos and various metal piercings, so I guess body hair removal is just another fashion of the millennium generation.

1 1/2 hrs shaving. Wow..I shave my body except for legs and arms and I'm done in 20 mins.

I use these great little blades women use to shape eyebrows for my body. They're from Japan and I'm lucky to have a Japanese supermarket where I live and can get them for under $3.00. They could also be found at Sally Beauty stores etc. These blades have a plastic protective cover to help prevent slicing yourself up and leaving your bathroom covered in blood and looking like a murder scene. Shaving your back is a hassle. You could also try any type of womens electric shaver. Remington etc.

Shaving body hair makes me look thinner and just feel like a Porn star. More power to me!...lol

[John Wayne] There are only men in this outfit, Pilgrim, and men don't shave their body hair. Now, I won't say a word to the guys about what you just said. But you're gonna get rid of that girlie stuff ASAP, if not yesterday!

Nair is great to use on one particular area. Ahh, forget it. It's every man for himself when it comes to hair removal.

p.s. only leave the nair on for 4 minutes or it will feel like satan breathed directly on your package.

cvc - It's a free country. The practice of body hair removal in men seems strange to my generation, but there's no harm in it that I can see (unlike tattoos, which are effectively permanent). If a young man were to ask my advice, I'd tell him to do what he can to present a good appearance to others at all times - to be fastidiously clean, well shaved, and well dressed.

Porter, You are aware of all the women with really SERIOUS tattoos these days, right? Oh yeah, I know scads of them...mostly pretty young, but not always. A 23 year old college student client of mine got one recently that runs from below her shoulder blade all the way to her thigh....and yes, I did see most of it ( chuckle ). Another para legal I know, in her '30s, married with two kids has both arms heavily tattooed from her shoulder to her forearm. Yep. Can't say as though I much care for all this but there it is. It's deeper level psycho/cultural implications are not encouraging from my point of view.

Yes, Gordon, I've seen a good deal of that in women even in their forties. The fashion for body art must have begun at least 10 years ago and maybe earlier. Sometimes a tattoo will be discreetly placed where it can't normally be seen, such as in the small of the back. But others can be very prominent, like the ones you describe. Both arms of a woman I know are heavily illustrated from shoulder to fingertips.
