Razor - 1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable (set to 3)
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge
Brush - Altesse
Soap - Proraso white
Toner - Thayers alcohol-free witch hazel
A/S - TOBS Victorian Lime
Wonderful shave! Very close and so smooth. No weepers. I can see now why the 7 O'Clock yellows are so popular! Now if I can only lay my hands on some Super Iridiums...

Friday, February 4th:
Razor: Mergress
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simpson Douglas
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Yardley Soap (Thanks Diggity)
A/S: Acqua Di Parma
I have been on a vintage soap kick lately and received both the Yardly Black Label and the regular Yardly shave soaps this week. I used the regular Yardly today and was amazed at how vibrant the scent still is after nearly 40 years. I enjoyed an excellent shave and can see why this soap is sought after; it is nice stuff indeed. A splash of Acqua Di Parma Colonia and I am on my way.

*Thanks to Martin for this. A great cream - I gather most think this is Trumper's formula, and I agree; it lathers and shaves identically to my GFT cream, which is to say great. The scent is phenomenal: gentlemanly, timeless, rich. Sadly, my skin doesn't like it. I will be buying the cologne, though.
**Thanks to Martin for this, too. I have had one as my daily shaver for a while now, but this is a new addition to the den. A pristine specimen with an intact case. Magnificent shaver and with much better aesthetics than the one I've been using.
By the way, the Savile Row continues to impress.
