TOBS Avocado Shave Cream
Merkur 1904/Feather
Thayers Witch Hazel w/Aloe
Nivea Sensitive After Shave Balm

Bowl lathered again this morning and then painted on a fine lather which I massaged in with my fingers as I have seen by many of the barbers resulting in a fine shave.
Good shaving,

'41 Ranger
Astra SP (1)
Vulfix Hyde Park boar
Musgo Real
Ogallala Bay Rum and Sandalwood

For some reason a ragged shave, although no bloodletting. Maybe a rogue blade? These Astras are usually very smooth. Could be the Ranger is a little TOO aggressive.

Hot shower with Yardley's English Lavender Soap (England)
Savile Row 3824
Castel Forbes Essential Lime Oil Cream
Gillette New Improved
Treet DuraSharp (1)
Witch Hazel splash
TOBS Victorian Lime 74 cologne

It's a beautiful, warm Monday here in East Tennessee. A perfect day for Lime. After reading Squire's blade review I was intrigued with the Treet DuraSharp. I ordered a few and had my first experience with it today. I had a BBS shave with excellent comfort level during my typical 3 passes. At the inexpensive price of these blades if I can just get one more great shave out of this blade I will be an extremely happer camper.

Pre-shave Soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur 23C
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: EJ Best Badger
Cream: TOBS Avocado
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, 4711 Splash

Great Valentine's Day shave! I never met a TOBS cream I didn't like (although I haven't met all of them), but the Avocado outdid itself today.

Shave was interesting today considering that I had taken about 3/4" of a nail into the palm of my right hand over the weekend. And since the thought of shaving left handed makes me think of blood transfusions...I allowed myself a bit of extra time and played hurt.

Pre-shave Soap: Yardley Oatmeal and Almond
Razor: Merkur Futur (set on 4)
Blade: Feather Stainless
Brush: Rooney Super Silvertip
Cream: C.O. Bigelow out of the tube

Did not attempt to achieve a BBS today.

Face lathered up very well...shave turned out perfect.
Regards,
Jason

Upon Further Review...
