Pacific Shaving Oil
Pacific All Natural Shaving Cream
Merkur 1904/Wilkinson Classic
Thayers Witch Hazel w/Aloe
Nivea Sensitive After Shave Balm

The shaves are really quite good, close and comfortable, skin feels soft and moisturized, I think I will keep up the oil routine for a few more days and see where it goes!
Good shaving,

Gary

Monday March 7

Simpson Chubby 2 in 3 band Super
Castle Forbes Essential Lime Oil Cream
Kampfe Star Lathercatcher
Treet SE blade
Aqua Velva A/S
Caswell Massey #6 cologne

First shave with the Lathercatcher. It is quiet an aggressive razor and too a few minutes to get used to but the shave was superb. Not as comfortable as my other razors as it is very lightweight. This razor must have been a Godsend at the time. I will enjoy using it periodically for the history value alone. Not quiet BBS but a DFS.

Day 3 of my three-day test of TOBS Jermyn Street for Sensitive Skin.

Brush: Kent BK4
Razor: Z3 Superspeed
Blade: Astra (3)
Cream: The aforementioned TOBS JSSCfSS
AS: Pinaud Bay Rum - only below the jawline

Three days of fidelity is about my limit, but three days was the plan.

Got the lather figured out, both amount and hydration. Managed a very close shave today. Still, I'm noticing some red bumps which are only aggravated by the blade passing over them. So the question is whether it's the lather not being sufficiently protective, the blade, or any of a half-dozen other causes.
