My first impression was that the Muhle was no more aggressive than the Gillette New, which lulled me to sleep and produced some blood loss on the neck. Curiously, the New excels in shaving the neck, less so on the cheeks, whereas the Muhle is just the opposite in performance. The same blade was used in each .
As for those who said the scent of Nomad was a take-it-or-leave-it thing, well, they were right. I much prefer Tabac, both its scent and performance.
