What's Wrong With ME???

Post by HBK42581 »

Greetings, gents. It's been a while since I posted and I recently just sold off a lot of my shaving gear in the BST because I wasn't using as much of a variety of items as I used to. The issue in question happened about a year ago but I never wrote about it until now. This may, or may not be related to the issue but a while back, I bought a tube of the Real Shaving Co. Sensitive shave cream I used it and got phenomenal results. The only problem was that when my beard started to grow back in, I noticed a spot about the size of a silver dollar on my neck where the hair wasn't growing back in. Today, it's not completely bald and there are some almost clear looking hairs coming in but it's very noticeable when I don't shave. Any one else experience anything like this before or know what it is? Here is a pic:

Scott, if on the rare occasion I grow my beard out for a couple of days, I too have a number of patches where I have no growth at all. I must say, however, they are considerably smaller than yours.

I can't offer up any explanation, I'm afraid, but I think it unlikely to have been caused by a shaving cream.

Scott, was that area full of regular hair previously? If so I would suggest seeing a dermatologist and letting him or her check things out.
Cheers,

Remember: this is all just wasted time and lives talking nonsense to strangers about pieces of metal, hair and chemical compounds.

I have the same problem. I wouldn't worry about it either.
