I don't have a best sourde for Feathers because I have never bought any. The place you mentioned is one and ClassicShaving is another. I knowone of the SMF members also is a Feather blade source.

Four and a half years after the question was asked, mine isn't on the list, but it is Personna Prep (hospital use) made in USA.

Gary, I've seen you refer to that a number of times recently, but I guess I missed the thread where it was actually discussed.

Where do you get them?

GA, there are a number of vendors who have them. I got mine from Robbins Instruments, where Gary got his. I've dug through the threads a couple of times to get the URL, so perhaps Gary has it handy.

Recently, someone verified with ASR that the lab blades are the same thing, with less rigorous sterilization and a much lower price. I bought the prep/for hospital use blades, myself, to be sure what I was getting. They are sharp and smooth.

I also still like the coated Treet Dura Sharps, which are also sharp and smooth, but the stainless Personna prep blades last a little longer than the carbon steel Treets (which cost considerably less).

Lots of dust on this, first time I've seen it.

Yeah, I can't vote either.

Doesn't have Gillette Yellows (SharpEdge) or Med Preps, but the Yellows would be #1.

Yellow 7 O'Clock blades so far, for me.
Recently got a a few packs of Rapira blades free and they're pretty close if not equal.
