Don't try this at home kids

Feel free to post anything unrelated to wet shaving or men's grooming (I.e. cars, watches, pens, leather goods. You know, the finer things of life).

Google is a funny thing. You are looking for barbers that may actually use a real straight (the other post piqued my curiosity) and you end up finding something a little different. I had to watch this and then felt compelled to share.

He's a regular on some of the razor forums and knife forums. He is also a sharpening addict. He seems to be a really nice guy as well.

Yikes! Was I the only person to find that painful to watch!?

OK, so let's set the rules for SD...

No Str8s, no cleavers, no shovels, no camping knives, and no chipped flint edges anywhere near my neck and face. In fact, if it doesn't take an easily replaceable blade and doesn't have the handle in line with the direction of travel, I'm not interested! Yup, I'm no fun at all.

That made my butt pucker.
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity, but don't rule out malice.

What I want to know is ---- why?????

I watched without the sound on, btw - so not sure whether there was explanatory narrative that would have answered my question.
