Gordon, we kept the place tidy and there's plenty of hot water left. A thousand welcome backs.

Glad you are back; we don't agree on everything but your absence made SMF lesser.

cheers

Good to see you back! I will add that besides your well thought out repsonses and sage advice, I have certainly missed your sense of humor (as is still clearly in place from your post in spite of your apparent challenges :D).

I wish you the best possible outcomes and look forward to seeing you around SMF when you are able.

Good to hear from you, Gordon. In a world full of ups and downs for many of us, SMF is a reassuring constant. I hope we'll see you back again permanently before long.

I hope things 'settle' some in the year that awaits! May your tap water never run rusty again if nothing else. All the best really & see you at Perkins friend.

Gordon, I am enjoying traditional wet shaving thanks to your pointers and advice regarding proper blade angle. Ingrown hairs are a thing of the past for me now. None of us are immune to the "storms of life." Eventually, they pass. God Speed.

Welcome back Gordon. The place wasn't the same without your often timely and informed opinions.

Good to see a post from you, Gordon! This place just isn't the same without you.

I want to thank you ALL for your kind words, compliments, and encouragement. SMF is a special place and it is all of you who make it such. The legal and health issues are not yet resolved but, hopefully, they will be in the foreseeable future ( God willin' and the creeks don't rise ) BUT, there are some positive signs; a) this computer is somewhat improved, and b) the plumbing here does not seem to be rusted so that problem, at least, is behind me...sigh. Again, thank you, and I will check in as often as I am able.
Regards,
Gordon
