SOTD: February 13 thru February 19, 2012
Tuesday, February 14th
Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather Professional
Brush: Vie-Long BG2012 LE Prototype (Horse)
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Razorock Third Eye
A/S: Floris Santal
When I received my shipment from Razorock on Monday, one of the soaps had a cracked container. I figured this was the perfect excuse to adopt it for myself. The Third Eye soap exploded with lather after just a few swirls with the Vie-Long horse hair brush. I enjoyed an excellent shave followed by a splash of Floris Santal, a favorite.

Tuesday
Georgetown scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Duke 3 Pure brush
D.R. Harris Lavender shaving soap
Wilkinson Sticky razor
Gillette Platinum Plus blade (3)
Creed Green Irish Tweed aftershave balm
Another great shave. The Harris is really an excellent soap, and the GIT is always a wonderful finish. Now I'm BBS to go out for a Thai food lunch with my sweetie for Valentine's Day.

Tuesday morning shave:
Vitos SIS
$.50 chinese boar brush
Muhle R41 ('11)
Wilkinson Sword "Edge" (5)
handcrafted bay rum
2 pass BBS.
Yesterday I used the no name chinese boar for the first time in a long time and frankly I was surprised yet again how good the brush was. I just had to use it again today.
The Muhle R41 continues to be my absolute top rated DE razor. I know some folks have problems with using them, but for me it's pure joy every time.
Shaves, just don't get any better than this. Extremely close, comfortable, and absolutely no effort.
Today I made the decision to get another R41 just in case Muhle decides to change the design yet again.
