Gentlemen,
Wednesdays always remind me of undercooked steak. They just sit there aimless, in the middle of the week, like a forlorn steak in the middle of a plate. The pleasant shave picked up the slack, though.
Razor: Muhle Stylo DE in the butterscotch handle
Blade: Feather
Brush: Thater 24 mm silver tip
Soap: The Bath House Spanish Fig and Nutmeg spiked with Arko unscented cream
Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
Alum
Witch hazel
Balm: Institute Karite
Music: Songs by the Cape Verdean popular singer Cesaria Evora "The Barefoot Diva"
Finisher: Several cups of Turkish coffee made in the old ibrik

Wednesday morning shave:
Hot towel face prep
Vitos SIS
Rooney 3/1 SS
Gillette '50s SuperSpeed
Wilkinson Sword "edge" (6)
Bay Rum
A razor I never used before, a test blade, and a fantastic shave. 2 1/3 passes for a BBS. This is another razor that I can use after a rare night of bad ice cubes.
I think I'd rank this razor maybe a hair (and just a hair) more aggressive than my Black Handle SS. I was going to use it just to make sure it was good to go and then part with it, but I think it'll stay on the shelf. I love the handle.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Long-Handled Progress
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Soap or Cream: Ingram Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, 4711 Splash
An excellent shave this morning! After last night's light rain, it smells like spring outside. Although I know that Nature is teasing us, I thought a touch of menthol would feel nice--and it did.
