Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1954 Gillette Ball End Tech*
Blade: Astra Keramik*
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two-Band*
Soap or Cream: P.160 Tipo Morbido*
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Wesley & Scott Clove and Peppermint Balm*

Another fine shave with mostly discontinued products (those with asterisks). When I first acquired the Tech, I was afraid that it might deliver rather mediocre shaves. However, with a sharp blade, it's an excellent shaver.

Monday, February 20th

Razor: Gibbs Click Pen*
Blade: Polsilver*
Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE*
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Trumper Sandalwood (Tallow)*
A/S: Trumper Marlborough*

I enjoyed an excellent shave with mainly discontinued items. The Limited Edition Shavemac brush ginned up a nice creamy lather from the Tallow version of Trumper Sandalwood soap and the Gibbs Click Pen with the recently discontinued Polsilver blade mowed down the stubble with ease. A splash of Trumper Marlborough (no longer available as an aftershave) and I am ready for the day. Very nice indeed!

I just have to get less busy.

Yeah, that'll happen when I kick the bucket.

Finally found time to enter the SOTD post.

Monday AM:

Hot towel face prep
Vitos SIS
Simpson Special pure badger
40s Gold Tech
Vintage Gillette "Spoiler" (1)
handcrafted Bay Rum

Definitely a comfortable shave, but from this razor how can a shave not be delivered comfortably? It isn't my favorite razor, but it is first on the list of test razors when I test a blade. I should have had a bad ice cube last night to justify the razor.

Almost a BBS, but I can't claim that. It was one DFS though.
