Monday

Harris Arlington soap
Rooney Finest
Barbasol Razor
Perma Sharp blade
Mentha lotion
Pinaud Bay Rum

I enjoyed the shave. The Barbasol is a good heavy razor.

Mournful Monday PM

Moss scuttle
Somerset Simpson Keyhole 1 Best brush
Bath House Spanish Fig & Nutmeg shaving soap
Feather AS razor
Schick Platinum Plus blade (1)
Trumper Spanish Leather cologne sample

After the Personna dud this morning, I really did need a shave tonight. And it was great, although with a few nicks, probably due to the new blade. SWMBO doesn't like the Spanish Leather, so I don't think I'll be buying any.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur 23C
Blade: Voskhod Teflon
Brush: Vie-Long Beehive Natural Brown Horse
Soap or Cream: Cyril Salter Indian Sandalwood Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Meehan Bay Rhum

Another excellent shave, and the first time using a cream with the Vie-Long horse brush. A cream really isn't much of a challenge for this brush, so it was no surprise when it whipped up a fine lather. I was in a bay rum mood this morning, and the Meehan delivered, providing a fine finish.

Gentlemen, this morning the angels dressed the shave den with bouquets of sweet kisses. That means only one thing in the gentleman's world: a sweet traditional shave.

Razor: Bull Mastiff Deluxe DE handle crowned with a Nickle-plated Gillette Goodwill open comb shave head
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock "Sharp Edge" yellow pack
Brush: Semogue 2015 HD silver tip
Cream: Trumper's Spanish Leather
Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
Alum
Witch hazel
Balm: Trumper's Coral Skin Food
Aftershave: Trumper's Spanish Leather
Music: Beethoven's 6th Symphony "Pastoral"
Finisher: A blend of Colombian and Guatamalan Hanapu coffee and a visit to Walden with my good friend Thoreau

Tuesday, April 3rd

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Schick Chromium
Brush: Vie-Long Beehive (Silvertip)
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Acqua di Parma
A/S: Acqua di Parma

All this talk about ADP the last few days created a craving. The silvertip Beehive whipped up mounds of great smelling lather and the Futur loaded with a Schick Chromium did a great job of eliminating the stubble. A splash of ADP aftershave and I am ready for the day. I love this stuff!

Tuesday AM

Moss scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Tulip 4 Super brush
T&H Sandalwood shaving cream
Feather AS razor
Schick Plus Platinum blade (2)
T&H 1805 aftershave balm

A top notch shave this morning. After buying the shaving cream, I realized I don't really like sandalwood very much, but the T&H sure lathers beautifully.
