Becker scuttle
Proraso preshave
Somerset Simpson Polo 12 Super brush
Barbon shaving cream
Gem Featherweight razor
Star Super Edge blade (3)
Chanel Allure aftershave

A very good shave. Despite its size, the PL12 makes lathers just about as well as any other brush I own, and it has a great feel. The Barbon has a green scent, possibly with a little eucalyptus, which I don't really like very much, but it produces tons of rich, thick, slick lather. I'll probably end up passing it on to someone else. And the Featherweight and Star work excellently together. I'm BBS once again.

The new Chubby (28.5 x 49 loft) really looks & acts like a Chubby 1 1/2 or 3/4. Really enjoying this new rare anomaly.

Wednesday

Gillette Model #58 with a Feather blade
Simpson's Tulip #3 in super badger (pre-Vulfix)
Mama Bear's Cannabis Shaving Soap
Generic witch hazel
Alt Innsbruck A/S

Not a bad shave, although I do have to work on the Tulip/mama Bear's combo. I have had some trouble getting the two to cooperate in a pleasing manner. The Cannabis scented soap is certainly interesting. Not a very traditional scent, to be sure, but it is quite pleasant to me. It reminds me of hops, but spicier, almost like a great IPA.
