Full hollow ground straight razors sing, some more than others, while the heavier grinds (1/4 for example) don't provide as much audible feedback, but there is some. The Cobra Classic has a pleasant and dependable little song that reassures me it's working. "Whistle while you work!" (Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs )

+1 the sound. OK, I must have a great shave, but the audio definitely helps. That's something I like about SE razors.
