Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Dirty Bird TSN LE Bill Bowl #2/50
Somerset Simpson Emperor 2 2-Band Super (20/48)
G.F. Trumper's Coconut Oil shaving cream (vintage)
Wilkinson Sticky
Wilkinson Sword (cryogenically tempered) (5)
Armani Code aftershave balm

An excellent shave. The bowl makes a fine lather, especially with a great cream like the Trumper's, but I wish it produced some warmth; I miss my scuttles. The Emperor is wonderful, a very ergonomic handle with a firm but soft knot. The blade keeps cutting smoothly, although it seems to be getting noisier. And the Armani is a good finish.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Tradere OC (first generation)
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Cream: Cyril Salter Almond
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Taylor's Mr. Taylor Splash

A very fine shave this morning! I think I have the Tradere OC technique pretty well nailed now. I can shave with it without thinking too much and still walk away with face intact and very smooth (actually no nicks, weepers, or irritation). In my book, it is an excellent shaver, but I won't be giving up my other razors even though that would make room for more creams, soaps, etc. Each razor has its own "personality" that makes it pleasurable to use.
