Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Long Handled Progress
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush:Vie-Long LE Beehive Natural Horse
Soap: D.R. Harris Lavender
A/S: Thayer’s Lavender Witch Hazel/Alt Innsbruck Splash

A very fine shave, with everything working together in harmony. And I just resurrected my computer after a crash (started the process last night), so I’m a happy guy.

Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Dirty Bird 1.5 scuttle
Rooney Faux Horn 3/2 Finest (24/54)
Penhaligon's Endymion shaving cream
Feather AS
Wilkinson Sword (cryogenically tempered) (8)
Creed Green Irish Tweed aftershave balm

An excellent shave. This 3/2 is another great Finest. Its backbone may be slightly less firm than the others, but it still feels wonderful. The Sword blade is starting to drag some; it still cuts well, but there is resistance, and it definitely has lost its smooth slide on this eighth use.

Here is the Rooney.

This was the last shave out of a pot of GFT Violet I purchase from QED in 2008. It will be interesting to discover if the new pot purchased in February of 2012 is as good!

Prep - Hot Towel, Simpson's Shave Cream
Razor - Weber ARC
Blade - Astra S/P
Brush – 'Mama Chub' (Chubby 2 Two Band)
Soap - Marlborough
Cold Rinse/ Witch Hazel/ Musgo Real

I haven't shaved since last Sunday, and having just come home from holiday I didn't want to whip out the 'Wheatfield', so 'Mama Chub' and the Marlborough laid down the base for a super smooth, super clean shave with the Weber. Damn I feel great ;-)
