Gillette Bleue Extra (3)
Vulfix 405
Trumpers Violet cream

Strange how one ingredient can rescue an otherwise ordinary
shave. In this case it was the sublimeTrumpers Violet.

Andy, I'm starting to take note of things I never paid attention to before. That's what this site has done, expand my brain (which needed the extra room, anyhow). I also happen to think that dr.P's bathroom tiles are awesome (and that's a word I loathe). What the hell is going on?

Prep - Hot Towel, Palmolive S/S
Razor - Muhle '11 R41
Blade - Astra S/P
Brush - Duke 3
Soap - Monsavon
Cold Rinse/ Witch Hazel/ RazoRock Aftershave Wax

my Monsavon just arrived, so I used it with the 'Duke'.... bloody fantastic... this stuff was literally flying off my brush as I applied it to my face.... IMHO Monsavon is up there with 'The Fat'..... fantastic cushion, glide and protection... my face feels great. In fact I really enjoyed that shave!! Happy bunny. ;)

Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Becker scuttle
Somerset Simpson Duke 2 Butterscotch Best (22/46)
Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap (vintage)
Wilkinson Sticky
Iridium Super (6)
Ralph Lauren splash aftershave (vintage)

Great shave. The old Lauren soap is quite good, easily the equal of Yardley. Possibly the exact same soap except for the scent. However, in the past it may have caused me some itchiness, so I'll have to watch for that today.

Good afternoon. Wednesday:

No shave- forgot to set the alarm and yesterday's shave was good to enough for me to pass.
Best,
Chris
