Been Out of The Loop for a LOOONG Time

Post by HBK42581 »

How's everyone doing? My shaves are few and far between these days. Most of the time I just use a beard trimmer. Most of my shaving gear is locked up in storage. Broke up with the long time gf/fiance/wife so I'm kind of in between permanent housing. (The break up was the best thing I ever did and I've never been happier, fwiw.)

About to place an order for a Merkur bakelite and some of the new formulation Proraso cream and pre/post. Looking forward to treating my face. :-) Hope everyone is well!

Scott, Welcome back and I understand. Last Fall I was pretty much absent from SMF for a few months as I ended a longtime marriage, moved in with a friend, etc. During that period I lacked the time, and largely the means and inclination, to post. It was a difficult time...not necessarily 'bad', there was a lot positive happening in many ways...but still difficult.

Gordon

Just goes to show the dedication we all share to the art of wet shaving that we continue to participate in our forum despite being chased out of our own homes by the big dog with the spiked collar in the film Avitar :!:
