Merkur 15C open comb
Merkur blade (came with the razor)
Simpson Duke 3 in best badger
Speick shaving soap
It was my first time with an open comb razor and it was interesting. No nicks, but I was going very slow. I was scared to take my normal angle even though I know that's what I'll have to do to get a close shave. The result was a good shave, but not as close as normal. I can see that the open comb will give me a bit more control than I'm accustomed to with the safety bar.

I like it a lot, and it allows me to wear stuff I'm normally allergic to - like fern and moss. Perhaps because it only uses "absolutes" as opposed to EOs? My two favorite Slumberhouse fragrances are Norne & Jeke.Nate wrote:Andy, what do you think of the Norne?druphus wrote:
