Gonna Be a Grandfather

Post by Straight Arrow »

My time has come. Come the end of August my wife and I will be grandparents for the first time. My daughter and son-in-law are are making his parents first-time grandparents as well. Needless to say we all feel blessed and extremely excited as we anticipate the new arrival.

Congratulations --- becoming a granddad was indeed a hi-lite of my life. We have more fun with our granddaughter than I ever thought possible. It's like life has changed for the better like you never expected or envisioned.

Rich,

Congratulations on the great news for you. I know the exact feeling. My daughter and son-in-law gave us the same news on Christmas Eve 2010. Our grand daughter Ivy Jane was born on the exact day she was due. June 30, 2013.

Now if you want to do this grand father thing correctly and you use an Android smart phone go to the Android App Store and download the free app "Countdown Timer". Then simply put in the due date and you have a countdown going. Helps pass the time while grand dad waits. 8)

Hope all goes well for the soon to be new parents.
