Thursday Night:
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE8911
Blade: Treet Dura-Sharp
Brush: Semogue 740 (pure badger)
Soap: Stirling Soap ("Naked and Smooth" unscented; tallow-based with lanolin and Shea butter)
Lather made in a bowl, as always.
2 1/2 passes.
Aftershave: Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel blended with a bit of lather and massaged into the skin.
I think I have this soap about figured out. I got a very rich lather this evening and it has a noticeable moisturizing effect on the skin.
The ingredients are as follows:
Tallow, Castor Oil, Distilled Water, Almond Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Potassium and Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Lanolin, Coconut Milk, Kaolin & French Clay, Sodium Lactate.
I have also been very impressed with the bath soap. (So far, I have used up a bar of Tea Tree Soap, Tomorrow, I start a bar of "Sheep Soap," made with mutton tallow.)
These soaps can be found at www.stirlingsoap.com
(I am just a very satisfied customer. I have no connection to the company and gain no profit from their success, other than the ongoing availability of their product.)

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Semogue 830 Boar
Soap: D.R. Harris Lavender
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel/Myrsol Agua Balsamica
I couldn’t ask for a nicer shave. It’s too bad that so many guys suffer through the scraping and yanking of multiblade cartridge or disposable razors, hating their daily shaves. There was a time when I was one of them.
