Edwin Jagger Georgian horn DE razor and Feather blades

Post by Sam »

One Edwin Jagger DE razor with the Merkur head and imitation horn handle, the bulbous one called the Georgian. Will sell with 110 Feather DE blades. Asking $90.00 shipped Conus.

Mike, sure, if I can sell the razor separately first. I would not want to sell the blades and then be stuck with the razor and find that I have no blades now to use the razor. I'd be thinking $33 shipped for blades only

Hello Sam,

I appreciate the reply. I am going to pass. No need to split up the lot.

Thanks,
Mike

Sam, the picture shows the EJ/Muhle and not the Merkur head. Did you not get along with the bulbous handle?

Ron, loved it. Just that my beard is changing and well, I shaved my goatee off and six months later (about three months ago or so), I shaved the moustache, a place that had not seen a razor in like 30 years. The Merkur slant bar was too rough there and I started using a disposable Gillette Good News. Did the job and got rid of the slant bar and now I am finding that I get just as good of shaves if I ditch the EJ. I have not updated this thread because I still from time to time use the EJ for the first four passes and then use the disposable for blade buffing

I've started using Bic Sensitives. They are awesome. (it's nice that they're cheap also).

I am thinking I need to shim my Tech to get similar results.

Or get a pre-war Tech, the kind with the triangular slots. No shimming necessary.

I'm tempted Sam. I like the Muhle/EJ head and Feather blades. I bought something from you before, what was it?

$75 for the razor and blades combined, shipped CONUS
$55 for the razor ($50 and shipping) CONUS
$ 25 for the blades shipped CONUS, that's 11 packs of blades
