I've posted about this matter other places, but one of the best glycerin soaps I've ever used was a tub of Opus X from SRD. Very nice glycerin soap that lasted a full two months with everyday usage and heavy loading. It worked extremely well, & I have others on hand that I'm looking forward to using.

Mike you can also take two glycerin soaps with complementary scents you like and melt them together to form one.

Mystic Waters sensitive skin again. Experimenting with water temp. and also distilled water.
Heavier loading with a drier brush and then working at lathering longer seems to help, too.

T&H luxury soap -- The scent really describes luxury! Does anybody knows if D.R. Harris Lavender has a similar or very close scent?!

Harris lavender is a very light scent that I sometimes don't even notice but I always notice the citrusy scent of T&H.

Ed,
I gave up on the MW Sensitive Skin soap.... never could get a workable lather out of it. I'm of the school which
believes any soap deserves a fair chance but after that, moving on, or in my case returning to one of 4-5 soaps
which faithfully give up lather day in day out, saves time and frustration.
For this reason, my soap choice today was Valobra hard puck, cologne scent.
Hope you can manage to master the MW, a soap with many, many fans!
Enjoying wet shaving, again.

I was about to give up on it myself, as I have with a few others that don't give me consistent results, but gave it another go after seeing folks were having success (I'm afraid I don't recall who to credit here).
I probably wouldn't have tried again except that I had gotten (by accident? :? ) really good lather a few times and knew it could be done.
Since I have hard water I first tried using room temperature distilled water and got a good lather. I started with a very dry brush, loaded heavily, and gradually added water as I lathered. I proceeded on to using warm, but not as warm as possible, water from the tap. Good results again. Now I face lather starting with almost a paste and adding water as I build the lather. So far it works. [-o< Used it again today.
