Two different soaps in terms of performance, to be sure. Maybe Squire's alternating between an old Vintage cake he's had for a while and a Current cake he just bought recently?

Rufus this cake of Williams was purchased close to a decade ago so I called it vintage on a whim though in today's shaving world perhaps that's not a stretch. No idea what the new stuff is like.

Squire, the current stuff works poorly, but it actually sucks, to be blunt.
