After a long hiatus, the Shave Tutor videos have returned! A while back I surveyed users on some of the forums about what their most annoying shaving problem was, and most of the responses had something to do with the neck. So I put together this video (+ a long blog post with more detail):
We applaud because you are the best at doing what you are passionate about. Thanks!
SOTD 99%: soaps & creams, synthetic/boar/badger brushes, General V2 by Colonial, Kai & Schick blades, Superior 70 aftershave splash + menthol + 444
Thanks for the video. I changed to a cold water shave and it helped the comfort and quality of my XTG pass under my neck. I was never able to achieve a BBS in this area using warm or hot water. The cold water seems to make my skin more taut for my XTG maneuver. Also I seem to suffer less often from irritation since I switched to the cold. It does take some getting used to but now I find the cold water exhilarating in the early a.m. My version of the polar bear club.
