Mühle Synthetic v2 23mm
Tim's Wassail soap
Jagger Barley Chrome DE
Personna Lab Prep day 5
Thayer's Superhazel
C.O. Bigelow Bay Rum

The 23mm Mühle is just a great lathering tool. Thinking I may need to give the BK4 a shot again soon as the field of acceptable badger for me is narrowing - if it can't lather as effectively as this, or in the same ballpark anyway, it's out.
Regards,
Tim

Soap: Wickham SS - Dandyism
Bowl: Steve Woodhead
Brush: Custom 400 Boar
Razor: Gillette Flare Tip
Blade: Lord
Aftershave/EDT: Floris - Spencer Hart - Palm Springs

Been feeling in the Christmas spirit the last couple of days, so I thought I would make time to do a SOTD photo to share.

Whipped up an abundant of lather in the bowl tonight with the Custom 400 boar. I am getting a lot of enjoyment from using this, it's such a quality brush in so many ways. Two great comfortable passes. Super Smooth as always, providing an effortless shave. All finished off with an unusual scent from Floris, which I'm also enjoying a lot of lately.

On the menu tomorrow Huntlees Sweet Tobacco shave soap.

Merry Christmas Gents. :D

Soap: Huntlee Master Lather- Sweet Tobacco
Brush: Whipped Dog Silver Tip Badger
Razor: 1912 SE
Blade: GEM
Aftershave/EDT: Dana - English Leather

Like a fine wine I do believe this soap gets better as it ages. Had a fantastic shave this evening. Palm lathered for two extreamly close passes with the 1912, feeling BBS. All finished off with lashings of English Leather, smelling super fresh!

Sunday:

Large Horsehair Barbershop
Lord Super/7 AM day 2
Tweex Shaving Stick
Booster Polar Ice AS

These days I'm using soaps and creams which I've regrettably neglected for a long period of time and this Tweex stick which is also from Turkey did not disappoint me at all. It's very similar to the fantastic Arko stick with a very similar scent and great lather, in fact I find these two sticks almost identical. The only thing I find is that the Tweex is slightly less skin-friendly, but the difference is very slight. The Booster Polar Ice is one of my favourite aftershaves - it's another Canadian barbershop classic, and it even says so on the bottle. Although this shave was completely unmentholated it was still very enjoyable.

Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14"

A very special shave. This razor has been made by Mastro Livi in occasion of the meetup in his workshop with some Italian wet shaver enthusiasts and it is made from the very same stainless steel used for Grifetto. Also the shaving soap has something to do with yesterday's meetup as it is a very kind and appreciated present the maker of PannaCrema soap gave to all participants. I must say I am very impressed by my new Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14" as well as the new formula of PannaCrema shaving soap, for and absolutely smooth and velvety shave.
  • Pre-Shave: Proraso Green Cream
  • Soap: PannaCrema Nostalgia Shaving Soap
  • Brush: Mastro Livi Silvertip Badger, Madagascar Ebony Handle, 26 mm knot
  • Bowl: Gerby Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi "Perugia 13.12.14", 15/16 Full Hollow, Spanish Point
  • Post-Shave: Umbrian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • After Shave: RazorGuy Bay Rum Aftershave
