Vintage Shulton Old Spice Fresh Lime Aftershave

Post by brothers »

I had somewhat forgotten this excellent AS in the cabinet. I'm currently working on a cake of Taylor's Luxury Lime soap, and the pairing of these two is delightful.

Never heard of that one, Gary... but Old Spice and Fresh Lime sounds like a fantastic combination. Mind posting a pic?

I can faintly remember the Lime deodorant stick on the shelves also. I sure wish Shulton was still around making their ranges. I never had a chance to try the Fresh Lime nor the flagship scent. Their shave soap was probably the best American one ever made, and was readily available to all takers.

I have never had the vintage version but I like the current one in a red plastic squeeze bottle. Really can sense a hint of Old Spice mixed with the limes.

I don't know why, but one of the best things about the Lime is the nice healthy burn when it hits the skin, followed up immediately with a great fragrance. I really like this aftershave.

Pete, West Coast Shaving carries this item but is currently out of stock. Can you recommend a reliable, and inexpensive, on-line source?

Thanks,

John
