maggard's open comb

Post by BiffBuff »

Just had my first shave with the Maggard OC plate. The top plate is chromed zamak, but the open comb bottom plate is plated brass.
I used a Gillette 7 o'clock 5+2 plat and put it on a bulldog handle. My soap was a blend of Tabac and MWF.

Really nice shaver! I find it performs similarly to the Gillette NEW short comb -- maybe a tad milder. Very middle of the road, highly acceptable shaver and a great moderately priced razor for those wanting to try an OC.
