Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor, 8/8 Full Hollow, Snake Point

Whenever I shave with this Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor, I cannot help thinking about the day Mastro Livi made this razor for me while I was shooting the video of the making. It took a whole day, from morning to early morning of the day after - I remember I was home at around 7:00AM of the day after - but it has been worth every minute I spent there while watching Mastro Livi making this masterpiece. This Snake Razor delivers a heavenly shave, a pleasure added to the amazement of watching such a piece of art. For today's shave I used one of my favorite shaving soaps - Martin de Candre - a super performing soap, capable of making a luxurious, creamy and smooth lather with just a very tiny quantity to be loaded in the brush while being capable of holding a good quantity of water. A special mention goes to the shave brush, a lovely gift a friend of mine - Roberto - made for me and in which has been mounted a wild badger loft, with a lovely handle made of black locust.
  • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
  • Soap: Martin de Candre Fougère
  • Brush: Roberto's Brush, Wild Badger, Robinia - Black Locust Handle, 24mm Knot
  • Bowl: Gerby Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Medium Loom Strop "Coramella Italiana" and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor, 8/8 Full Hollow, Snake Point
  • Post-Shave: Alum Block
  • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
  • After Shave: Old Spice Original

1st Post here on SMF. Glad to be here

Lord Smart razor
Treet King blade
VDH/TGN Silver Tip frankenbrush
Palmolive Mentholated SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Skin Bracer A/S w/added menthol

Another nice face chilling shave. The Treet King didn't want to work with the Lord Smart to well as this combo felt very mild together. Took an extra pass to get my desired results. However, the King blade was very smooth today, not like yesterday. Will put the Treet King blade in a more aggressive razor tomorrow and see how it goes. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Parker 94r razor
Treet King blade
TSD Lemongrass SS w/2X menthol
Shave Revolution Evo brush
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD Lemongrass A/S w/2X menthol

The King blade works ok and gives a nice shave but it doesn't impress me as one I would buy unless I had to. Don't know why and I'm sure it would be a great blade for some, just not me. One of those YMMV things I reckon. Loving the TSD Lemongrass as is my bride. She's sniffing my neck a lot when I use it. That's a good thing. Now go enjoy your day folks
