The Asylum Rx Razor Is Back In Stock At BullGoose

Post by BullGoose »

We received another shipment of Asylum Rx Razors late in the afternoon on Friday and they are back in stock. Now is the perfect time to pick one up for the holidays -either as a gift for a friend or a gift to yourself.

Just a question: this is a more expensive version of the Cobra Classic, no? It looks better, but beyond that....

It is a fully machined stainless steel razor rather than an injection molded razor and, it has tighter tolerances than the Cobra. The design is completely different. The Asylum is a three piece razor with the two head pieces fitting together with a tongue and groove design. The Cobra is a one piece razor with a hinge door apparatus and clip to secure the blade. One of the main drawbacks to the Cobra is that there is blade chatter due to the blade locking mechanism. There is no such blade chatter with the Asylum.

As far as price goes -the King Cobra was actually more expensive than the Asylum and, the King Cobra was not a machined razor.

Welcome to SMF, swinging. It appears your question - verbatim - has been asked and answered. :D
