Great lavender shave today. Day 5 of Decadent December featured my Gillette New LC which delivered a very comfortable noggin and face BBS. I really like the Grooming Dept Scentless Donkey Milk soap salted with 5-6 drops of M-Bomb I’ve used for the last two shaves. It provides a slick, thick, nourishing lather that was a pleasure to wash and rinse with after the shave. I feel smooth and refreshed!

It’s day 6 of Decadent December, and time to break out one of my favorite Vintage Gillettes, my 1905 Silver Plated Old Type. Looks pretty good for a 114 yr old lady! And boy does she deliver the goods! BBS on both dome and face. Great shave all around! My favorite Cream, mentholated Kapo spiced with 5 additional drops of M-Bomb whipped up to a thick, slick protective lather by my favorite brush came close to putting it in the Cryogen class of cold, but not to that tearing head-shaking level of my wonderful Cryogen. Anyway, the result left me feeling cool and refreshed! Great shave!

Good morning to all on this sunny Pearl Harbor Day 2019. I’m referencing WWII because today I shaved with my father’s Gillette Slim. My dad was a WWII Navy vet, who passed in 2013 at age 99. I’ve had this razor since I went through his things after his death. This morning was my first shave with it. It was a process of trial and error, but I finally found setting 7 to be the right one for my whiskers. The shave was a smooth and close DFS. In any case, after completing my favorite activity to start each day, I feel smooth, clean and refreshed.

Lazy day on this 8th day of Decadent December, led to a late morning shave, featuring one of my more efficient vintage razors, my Cooper Monobilt. Despite a late start, the razor delivered a dome and face BBS that has me continuing to feel that incredibly closely shaved dome. I feel smooth, clean and cool thanks to my Cryogen AS and M-Bomb additive to my shaving soap!
