Proraso Pre/Post (Love the tingle)
KENT BK4 (Finally!!)
T&H Luxury (Loving this soap)
Lucky Tiger Aspen AS (I'm wondering how this compares to Polar Ice)

Good shave tonight, had to wait and let it grow out a bit.

The BK4 is a beast for a little brush. I tried it with some cream the other day when I got it, and it seems to do better with soaps, especially the T&H, that it does with creams. I thought that was strange. It's good though, cause I'm becoming more of a soap man so this should be a nice addition.

MUSIC: Made In Japan – Deep Purple (vinyl)
Hot Towel w/ QED Da Vinci Water

4” Coors Mortar
TOBS Avocado SC
Kent BK8 Silvertip
Micromatic w/Ted Pella (thanks Mark)
2 passes
Styptic Pencil
WWR
CWR
Alum Bock
CWR
Pinaud Clubman AS
SCS Sandalwood ASB
Floris Santal EdT

Lucky Tiger 3 Roses Hair Tonic

The Micromatic will take some getting used to. Much more like a str8. Control is even more important than with a DE. 2 passes were all that was needed. I think a third would have removed the top layer of skin!

Have an outstanding day!

Enjoying the weather??? Perhaps if I could just sit by the pool all day! However, I did enjoy a nice steak at Gallagher's.

Back in the saddle today after yesterday's less-than-stellar shave. Very smooth shave (not quite BBS -- some roughness along the jaw line), with only one tiny nick.Cool.

Ameet, I agree with you on the Coates Lime. It's just that good. I'm nearing the end of my current pot. I have one in reserve, but I'm going to use a pot of Castle Forbes Lime first, as that looks like it will be my lime cream when the final Coates pot is gone.

Schick adjustable/Pella DB
Sabrooney Finest 1/2
Tabac Soap
Lucky Tiger Tonic

Yesterday I was questioning why I would ever need to use anything other than Trumper's soaps for lather. Today the question had the phrase "...and Tabac soap..." added to it.

Well Gordon, business is good, and I do seem to spend most of my disposable income on toiletries and colognes, but no, I didn't spend $250 for CdR. I have a nice size decant that will last me a while, since I do not wear this on a daily basis. Today seemed like a good day for it though.
