Is it me or does that lather look thin? Or is that just how the shave stick lather looks on the face.

Newbie to Da' Shtik
I used that delicious QED Grapefruit & Mint stick today. What a pure pleasure! As I was using it for a touch-up, I was not necessarily interested in a full face of lather. I started with my Kent BK12, but found that it was too hungry for the touch-up. I took out my old Edwin Jagger Best Badger (small knot and loft). Soaked it with hot tap water and whipped up a phenomenal amount of dense lather for three or four light rubs of the stick.
