My Razor Holder

This is actually a holder for those old type rubber stamps...I found it in a office I was working in. It was destined for the rubbish...

That is a great razor holder you have acquired. It looks as if it was made specifically for razors instead of what it use to be used for in another time.

Fantastic idea. I wonder if office supply stores still carry those. I will be keeping my eyes open for one at the flea markets. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I have been scouring the flea markets (boots) for these and can't find them. None of the office supply stores that I have frequented or called stock these items anymore. I suggest that if you find one buy it on the spot. They do make excellent razor racks. That rack was an excellent find!

I love how no one has even commented on the three rockets that are on said holder. Everyone was probably just mentaly putting their own rotation in the slot. I bought this .99 toothbrush holder (and tooth brush) and modified it for my razor holder. The wife was along and didn't know what I was up to!

Tony, did you get yours yet? I just got mine and the height is a little too low for some razors and the razors don't stay in the rack that well. I think the original poster has a more suitable model for DE's. Right now, I'm trying to increase the height of it by inserting washers under the top piece. Mine is high enough to fit all my razors, but I could see how some longer handled ones may not fit.
If yours is constructed similar to mine then it should be easy to increase the height. Either use the washers method as you suggest or unscrew the center support completely and replace it with a longer length of threaded rod and also a length of aluminum/stainless tube...then secure it with a dome nut on top (at the bottom you can use an ordinary nut as its hidden).
I may even do this to mine to give it an extra inch or so.

I think this chrome one is tempting. The metal prongs should fit whatever you like, but the metal may scrape the wood or plastic of a brush. I saw a similar double-decker one on ebay under "stamp caddy" or "stamp rack"
