No, I've not joined a subversive organization. I'm not even voting for Ron Paul. But I seem to have fallen for an anarchist.

Caron L'Anarchiste, to be specific. I've never seen a single mention of this stuff here. But I got a sample with a batch of samples I ordered recently from The Perfumed Court.

Maybe it's just me, but I am really blown away by this stuff. Which is odd, because it is a touch sweet, and I don't usually like sweet.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the L'Anarchiste?

I was also pretty impressed with the Creed Silver Mountain Water, btw.

It might not be quite what you had in mind, but I was always impressed with the truth that lies somewhere between Voltaire's statement that if god did not exist it would be necessary to invent him, and Bakunin's (the original and genuine Russian anarchist/nihilist) that if god did exist it would be necessary to destroy him. I suspect that once one can understand and believe both statements at once it would be unnecessary to read tomes of anthropology such as Frazer's Golden Bough.

Now back to normal programming.

Read Ursula Le Guin's 'The Dispossessed' if you ever want to know how anarchy might make a stable form of government.

We have some real scholars in the Admin/Mod forum. Thank GOD, the God I believe in, for ordinary guys like me.

What is that high brow post doing in Colognes and Aftershaves? Ohhhh, I forgot Bargepole is also a Mod of this forum and he's one of those scholars.

Has anyone read Fanny Hill? Now that is a book I really enjoyed.

I have started the strangest thread ever to have popped out of a question/observation about a cologne. :D
