Feather portable Frankenrazor
Treet Durasharp
Fitjars Fjellheim SS
Omega 11126
Speick splash

Very fast shave. This razor combination inspires confidence. Did get a couple nicks around the goat, however.

Dovo Best (wtg, partial xtg, partial atg)
Muhle R106
USA Personna (2)
Shavemac 21mm Silvertip
MB Dragon's Blood Soap

The Dovo still seemed a little rough. I did a maintenance touch-up hone afterwards, using Norton 4k/8k, C12k, CrO balsa, and strop. I'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Hey Andy - How do you like the Semogue 830? I was thinking of trying one out, but my experience of the 620 wasn't so hot.

I like it, which is saying a lot because I'm not really a boar guy, but it sure works well with the P.160. I've heard the 620 is very small and only good for face lathering.

Saturday:

Gillette Model #58 & Schick Platinum blade
Simpson Duke #2 Best
D R Harris's Lavender shave cream ( old )
D R Harris's Pink A/S
Trumpers Spanish Leather

All you habitues of the SOTD section may be seeing quite a bit of this cream in my daily offerings for a spell. It's getting pretty firm and I've decided to try and make use of it before it becomes too much of a PITA to work with. Superb stuff.

Dovo Best (Partial wtg, xtg)
Muhle R106
USA Personna (3)
Semogue Owner's Club boar
Cella Shave Soap

The Dovo was sharper after my touch-up honing. I need to work on getting a smoother edge. I find the SOC too dense but I haven't given it enough work to break it in. I am thinking I should have gone for the 1305 instead. The Omega 30005 was good from shave one.
