Pre-shave Soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Lord Platinum Class
Brush: EJ Best Badger
Cream: Body Shop (old formula)
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Pashana American Bay Rum Splash

First use of a Lord Platinum Class blade, and it was a very nice shave. Further use will give me a better idea of the capability of this blade. I always enjoy using the old formula Body Shop cream and the Pashana Bay Rum was an excellent finish.

Razor - 1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable (set to 3)
Blade - Personna platinum
Brush - Altesse
Soap - TOBS lavender cream
Toner - Thayers alcohol-free witch hazel
A/S - St Charles Shave lavender balm

Consistently great results now that I've got the hang of the new angles with the SA. Personna blade is still great after three shaves. Although I got wonderful lather from the TOBS cream, I noticed the residual dried out pretty quickly on my face between passes. No matter, it did its job very well.

So, Andy, what do you think of the injector and Chick blade? Sharp enough for you?

Definitely sharp enough, however this was a new blade. I'm curious to see how many shaves I can get on an injector blade. I also felt like I didn't need to be as careful about technique due to the rigidity of the blade. Sometimes I think DE blades can deflect, so you need to be more aware of your angles.

I've gone a little nuts and and now have 4 or 5 Vintage injectors to experiment with!

Unfortunately Andy, I 've gone down that road too. Good to hear that the Chick blade works. I bought four dozen and slapped one onto a "G" but keep forgetting to try it.
