Found in an antique shop, lettering is "Guaranteed Sterilized" and on the other side I think it was "Pure Bristle Made in England"
It's an interesting one, a small handle, but pretty likely catalin and hand turned as there are ridges on the bottom from turning. Going to re-knot this one as used boar does not interest me, I welcome any thoughts on which way to go, badger, synthetic, or stick with boar. I think the knot is 20mm
Any experts on English brushes have a thought on this?

Wonderful simple shape to this handle that has me quite intrigued, looking forward to any information supplied.

I would go with badger. Just because it started life as a boar doesn't mean it has to remain that way.
