Vector SE by Blackland Razors

Post by brothers » Sun Jul 14, 2019 9:31 am

I'm solidly sticking to my General because I have the best of shaves every single day. However, just for discussion purposes, has anyone here at SMF heard of or have ever used the Vector by Blackland? Supposedly the design is unique for the sake of making a smaller and lighter head that is intended to increase maneuverability. The threaded post has been modified to fit through the center slot in the AC blades, which results in centering the blade on the center of the handle and the head is almost as small as the blade with no overhang. Some creative engineering has taken place.

I have a Vector, and love it! I shave with two other AC razors(Oren, Hawk), but neither compares to the Vector. Great shave every time I use it.

Enjoy your shaves,

Jeff, thanks. Now I'm more curious than before about this little razor. Not extremely curious considering the price and the fact it's sold out! :D

Gary:
I’ve tried the General in a passaround on another board, and will admit it’s a great razor! In fact, I was in the market for a brass one with no success until a friend offered me his Vector for one of my Karve razors (I had two) with several plates. We traded, and I’ve been getting the closest shaves of my 72 yrs since we did. It’s the only razor I’ve been using since the trade. I use it for head and face with Schick Proline blades!

Enjoy your shaves,

Jeff
