Sam, I use Pelikan, Sailor, vintage Parker and Schaeffer - I really enjoy them all, but have a particular affinity for my Parker's as this was what my father used.

The recommendation to speak to Richard Binder is an excellent one as well. The man knows his stuff.

Very much enjoyed seeing that process. I have a Dirty Bird Bill Bowl and enjoy using it - only problem is my larger brushes clank around the edges of it. Problem solved in my Ayars lather bowl!
