Re: Israel Pilgrimage

Me and the wife are taking a Catholic Pilgrimage to Israel in December. What things are worth buying? What else is good to see besides the Christian stuff? I do not think we will have much freetime... but just in case. Thanks for the suggestions. Jewish "stuff" ? Just a thought.

FS: Vintage unused silvertip brush*SOLD*

I thought that I was through selling off most of my collection but there's still a bit more. Here's a lovely unused brush labeled "W & R Pur Blaireau Paris". It appears to be a re-labeled Plisson with a knot that's virtually identical to some of the Plisson HMW or EW brushes that I've ...

Wow, that's a kick...my parents had a Hudson, very used of course. I remember riding in it. I think Dad had a liking for the unusual; we also had an Edsel, Studebaker, Kaiser, a Crosley and an Isetta. The Isetta didn't last long, Mom had a fit about that one :) Sue EDSEL http://allworldcars.com/wor...

If you have the time, head to Battery Park and take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It gives one a sense of the American experience. After that it's not much further to the Twin Towers site. NYC is one of the greatest cities on the planet.

I'm not impressed. After all I flew one of these at over 100 knots-with the doors open. Try that on your SR-71.

For more SR-71 stories, pick up a copy of SR-71 BLACKBIRD written by Richard H. Graham Col. USAF (Ret). He was one of those that flew that legendary plane. Covers the background and development as well as personal stories from the pilots.
