I don't know what to say - some guys claim it has a melony scent or an orangey scent, but I don't find it fruity at all.

Swiss Pitralon aftershave

Here is something nice and refreshing from Switzerland that has great skincare and a pleasant scent which some describe as fruity, but I find it light and classy. Not too much alcohol burn, although this stuff has a high alcohol content, and although it has no menthol, it is slightly cooling. This s...

I scored some of this a few weeks ago. OMG. I cried for weeks when they took my lovely best friend, the original Pro Red away. The only bright spot was the fact that I had seven old stock tubes stashed away. Enter the new and improved cream. YES and YES. The subtle, rich scent is delicious, as well...

The scent is very clean, plain, and mild. There are no sources in North America for this stuff, unfortunately. The ingredients include Aqua, Glycerine, Potato Starch, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Citronellol, and others.

Hega aftershave - Sweden's last remaining item

There are no wetshaving-related items that are produced in Sweden except this wonderful aftershave, which many, many years ago had a fantastic shaving stick that was sadly discontinued. Does this stuff ever feel good after a shave, and it allows you to not use a moisturizer because it protects again...

Olimon shaving cream

Here's another nice, lemony scented cream from the Czech Republic which I recently received. Ease of lathering: 10/10--Rich, thick lather very easily. Longevity of lather: 10/10--Very stable, holds up without problems. General skincare: 8/10--Moisturizes quite well, good protection from irritation. ...

Diana Sport Menthol Balsam

This is something which I don't recommend unless you're a menthol lover like me, who can tolerate a POWERFUL cooling effect. This balsam is from Austria, and can make its fellow countryman Alt Innsbruck feel warm. It gives a lot of moisturizing, and it's also fragrance-free so there's no danger of i...

Max Refreshing aftershave

A really nice Bulgarian-made aftershave with a scent quite similar to Polo Green and a lot of menthol cooling. The skincare from this stuff is also very soothing. www.rubella.bg is the website to check out.

Barbon aftershave - brrrrrrrr cold and beautiful!

I don't know if this stuff was ever reviewed but I can say this - it not only has a ton of menthol in it, it also has a nice, barbershoppy scent to it that won't clash with a cologne or an eau de toilette. It comes from Hungary, and is produced by Caola Cosmetics in Budapest, just like its matching ...

Ron, I agree with you - the Wilkinson soap in the blue plastic bowl is lousy. I tried the cream with aloe and I didn't like it either, and I definitely recommend the Wilkinson shaving sticks.

Michael, the "Mary" eau de cologne is the version for women. My wife hates the scent of it, but I think it's quite nice. My friend's girlfriend wears it sometimes after a shower.

Gordon, it has a VERY light and pleasant scent.

Cream From The Casbah! (well, not quite!)

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are Israelis of Moroccan Jewish origin, and as I'm sure everyone here knows, I'm Israeli of Russian descent. Well, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law recently returned from Morocco where they went on a hilloula, which is a pilgrimage to towns where famous Morocca...

Chabrawichi 555 cologne

http://s14.postimage.org/axgpwcg8t/untitled.jpg Here's a nice, old, and very CHEAP Egyptian cologne which is now available here in Canada - well, at least here in Montreal. I remember seeing it in stores in the Gaza Strip when I was in the IDF back in 1973-1989, and it sold for sooooooooo little ba...
