Sam; Unwieldy, hardly. I must confess that I much do prefer the larger size brushes. Many gents here have made mention that they found the BK 12 too big. I, however, do like the size. And, have not found it to be too large. As far as the Plisson goes, yeah well I suppose that many guys find the 18 p...

Let's see;

Adjustable: I'd go with the Futur, especially w/ either Feather or Israeli blades.

Fixed Head: No contest, HD all the way, also w/ Feather or Israeli blades(if I'm in a rush :D )

Well isn't that strange. I was in contact with the Cdn. division and was told that they were getting rid of the older pots in plastic. These were the ones that were being sold for a discount. HOWEVER, the newer versions, in the glass tub, are NOT being discontinued. Apparently, C&E are trying to...

Gordon; Yes I was aware of previous situations where confiscation was the norm for just about anything involved. God knows, I've had a number of blades, clippers, and the like summarily taken from me many, many times before. Fortunately, with my work, I'm off on travels throughout the year and have ...

Sorry Gordon, I should have been somewhat clearer. When I was travelling with my DE thru the airports, I HAD ALSO packed some DE blades in my carry-on bag with me in addition to the razor itself. Security didn't even ask about the blades at all; they just wanted to have a look at the razor. As I men...

Colonial Soljourn

Well, well, well. After recently completing a multi-week, multi-national business trip, I want to provide a little more info. about that newest shaving mecca, Colonial Drug. Fortunately, I was there as a small portion of the latest Plissons arrived. http://upload4.postimage.org/471814/Picture445.jpg...

I never meant to imply that anyone here is a bottom of the barrel kind of man.

So what's so wrong about being "bottom of the barrel"???? :D :D :D

Actually, I bot it off of ebay some time ago. I didn't know at the time what year it was, and the seller wasn't quite sure either. Oh well, sometimes these little treasures do turn up! :D :D :D

Yes I agree. The bristles in the Super are, I believe, somewhat "stronger" than their silvertip. The difference isn't too large but comparing both side to side, you will notice a difference between the two. As well, the super seems to be slightly more densely packed which could also go som...

Bruno; Yes, the prices are high because they are dealing with the UK. I talked to the owner there several months ago and he stated that he was looking for avenues to help ensure that their prices did come down. I personally think they are pricing themselves out of the market. Whenever, I want to get...

I understand that there are many, many others out there that hate us and want to destroy us completely. These Islamic terrorists aren't interested in any tete-a-tete. They would like nothing more than t...
